When you first start any activity it is hard to master. That's why Annie Foulds Fitness will teach you real choreographed dance workouts. 

 We will break down the moves step-by-step, as you go, so you can learn them, repeat them until you're comfortable, put a sequence together, then bust out a full routine to songs of your choice.  

You'll be completely amazed at how good you do and how great you feel! 

 

 

FUN FITNESS and STRENGTH TRAINING

 

STARTING AGE: 11 YEARS OLD.

 

Training young people requires fun and playfulness at times!

 

Children under the age of 13 years old can benefit greatly from regular exercise (both aerobic and strength training). The Centers for Disease Control (2020) recommends that children engage in 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise daily. This should include flexibility, balance, strength and aerobic training.

Regular exercise also promotes enhanced neuromuscular control, increased bone mass, enhanced academic scores and improvement in overall self-esteem and self-efficacy  Typically, goal directed training should begin around the age of 10-11 when the individual has developed appropriate maturity and proprioception
